Portland chef Brody Durant  believes that real food equals real energy.  When he set out to create The Better Bar he aimed to avoid the standard nutrition depleting super-processed bar making methods of extrusion, heat, and oxygenation.  Instead he decided to “raw press” antioxidant-mineral-vitamin-fiber-protein-rich superfood ingredients like blueberry, goji berry, quinoa, pumpkin seed, sunflower seed, and cocoa into delicious portable bars.
